The Houston Indian Doctor's Association (IDA-Houston) is one of the largest local chapters of the American Association of Physicians of Indian origin (AAPI). The Young Physician Section (for those less than 8 years out from training or in their final year of training) is all about sharing experiences on:
- Starting a practice/building a practice/practice management
- Building a referral base in the Houston area
- Networking with other young physicians of different specialties in the area
- Financial planning for the physician
- Balancing family and career
- Career advancement in academics
