Membership
I would encourage all young physicians to take this chance to become patron members of AAPI for $100. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with over 50,000 members, AAPI allows its constituent to network with an extensive association of medical professionals during its local and national events. Additionally, an online-directory makes it easy for mobile young physicians to find other AAPI members in their region and specialty. Career advice and opportunities are only a click away!
Politically inspired young physicians members can hold career-enhancing leadership positions in the charitable, political, international and social arenas of AAPI. Members also benefit from discount advertising on AAPI's website and journal(s). An AAPI Patron Membership gives you the right to vote at AAPI meetings and shape its future. And most importantly, AAPI Patron Membership means you have an organization with colleagues, friends and supporters for life.
Members who have had patron membership as of 10/31/2009 may nominate one person to become a patron member for $100. Residents, fellows and young physicians (within 5 years of completing training) or beyond are eligible for nomination. If you need to be matched with a nominating patron member, contact Vijaya Kodali at the AAPI main office or fax the application form to AAPI office with the payment information so that she may assign a patron member to nominate you. Note - the deadline to have a completed application faxed is 10-1-2010.
