Dr. Julie Patel, MD is board certified in Allergy and Immunology, Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Chemistry from Tulane University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. After completing her internal medicine residency, she pursued a dual Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology fellowship and Certificate of Added Qualification in Clinical Investigation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She served as Chief of Rheumatology at Ben Taub Hospital, and Assistant Professor and Associate Program director in the Section of Immunology, Allergy & Rheumatology. She is currently Assistant Professor of Immunology, Allergy & Rheumatology at Texas A &M Health Sciences Center's Houston Campus.
